The campuses, lecture rooms and libraries pictured on The Open Quad are all public-domain or CC0 images from Wikimedia Commons. Many were taken by US federal agencies, including USAID missions and the Department of Energy, and are therefore public domain in the United States. Our only changes were a 3:2 crop, a resize and conversion to WebP.
These pictures illustrate higher education in general. The students, staff and campuses shown have no connection with The Open Quad and endorse nothing in it. Shots from past government-funded partnership events serve purely as historical illustration; the magazine has no tie to the agencies or programmes that organised them.
